With her comprehensive training in theatre-based Performing Arts Technology (Cum Laude) and extensive experience within the international and South African film landscape. BANDILE K. MBULI is a visionary who has integrated a number of disciplines into her costume design and art practise, melding her experience in make-up artistry and art direction, to reveal a multi-faceted body of work fundamentally concerned with sustainable practises and the restoration of dignity through art, activism and education.
Her eager engagement in the study of anthropology and ancient healing practises, fashion, art, food, furniture and textile inform her individual perspective channelled most recently through Costume Design for ‘King Shaka’ for CBS.
